Our company history.

During the early 1990's, Charles Lambert, the founder of our company, became interested in the development of electroplating without the need to immerse objects in chemical solutions.  Of particular interest was the application of gold solution to an object such as a watch, jewellery or car badge (which could be plated without removing from the car).

In early 1995 our first production model, the 2001, was released.  Housed in a powder coated steel case, this compact unit operated from 240v mains supply and quickly became popular with jewellers, car enthusiasts and antique dealers.  Later production models saw casing changed to 316 grade stainless steel.

In 1997, Charles was approached by a company who required a non-immersion gold plating system that was completely self contained with internal power. The development of the 2002 was started. Within a few months, the 2002 prototype was being tested in the field.  The prototype proved reliable and met all the requirements specified. The 2002 has been very popular with mobile operators and has been exported to Asia and Europe.

Further system development in 1998 saw the release of the 2003 unit.  This model was designed and built for use by operators requiring a high powered unit for industrial plating, both immersion and non-immersion.

Electronic technology, particularly in the field of notebook computers has seen the change from linear to switchmode systems bringing significant advantages of compact size, high specific power output and light weight together with cost savings.

These benefits have been introduced to our new range of Modular Plating Systems resulting in a smaller and lighter control unit with improved operational performance.

The added benefit of reduced cost completes the picture.

All our systems are designed and manufactured in Australia.
